Data protection information:

As part of research projects of the Centre for Quality Analysis/ZQA (§ 12 SächsDSDG) or respectively for the purpose of evaluation (§ 9 SächsHSFG i.V.m. § 10 Abs. 1 SächsHSPersDatVO) surveys are conducted. Depending on the survey’s design, personal data may be processed by TU Dresden, Center for Quality Analysis ZQA, 01062 Dresden for research purposes. Your voluntary and informed consent is required for this. More detailed information on the subject and the research purpose of each survey can be found on the starting page of the respective survey or on the corresponding project page on the Centre for Quality Analysis/ZQA website at www.tu-dresden.de/zqa. There, you will also find information on the data protection concept and the measures taken by the respective project.

Participation in the surveys is voluntary. Not filling in the form will carry no implications nor consequences. Please note, however, that each completed questionnaire improves the significance of the results. Also, with only a few exceptions (so-called filter questions), for each question you decide for yourself whether you want to provide an answer.

Unless otherwise indicated, the surveys are anonymous. In case, we use contact data on the basis of § 10 of the „Sächsische Hochschulpersonendatenverordnung“ (SächsHSPersDatVO), these will only be used to establish contact and in any case it is ensured that your identity data cannot be associated with the survey results. Of course, you can revoke your consent to take part in the surveys in an informal manner at any time with effect for the future. In this case your contact data will be deleted.

If a personal, randomly generated access code is used for the survey, this serves the sole purpose of ensuring that no third person fills out the questionnaire and/or that the questionnaire is not completed twice. This does not allow to draw any conclusions from the information in the questionnaire about your person.

During the survey phase and under very specific circumstances it cannot be entirely ruled out that a natural person could be identified by combining different and very specific answers. However, this is not the focus of the research interest. The aim is the collection of results on specific groups of persons. Therefore, safeguards are already in place during the initial processing of the data to ensure that no specific person can be identified.
The legal and statutory provisions, in particular regarding data protection in research projects, are adhered to in all cases. The instructions of the data protection officer of the TU Dresden have also been duly considered.

Unless otherwise required by law or you have given your explicit consent in individual cases, personal data will not be transferred to third parties. All personal data, in particular your contact details, will be deleted after completion of the research project in accordance with data protection laws.

You can obtain information about what personal data concerning your person is currently being processed at all times. However, further information is only possible if the data can still be uniquely assigned to your person. You are entitled to an answer within one month after receipt of the request for information.

The research results are published in the conventional scientific form. We guarantee that no conclusions about natural persons can be drawn from the publications. The anonymised results may be used for further research purposes and can be passed on to other research bodies in the European Union.

If you are concerned that your right to the protection of your personal data has been violated, you can contact the data protection officer of TU Dresden or the Saxon data protection officer at any time.
